VERTES was the "Wag" of indoor plants, empowering vibrant living environments through app-enabled plant care, sitting services, and educational resources. Our mission was to foster urban well-being by increasing knowledge, access, advocacy, and the use of green medicine in historically under-resourced communities. Using empathy-driven technology, direct engagement, and tailored resources, we delivered impactful, lasting results that promoted holistic, community-wide benefits.

Invited to Cairo, Egypt, to present a custom clean beauty exploration proposal for Breadfast MENA App (YC'19). The presentation included market and field user research, industry insights, product development strategies, and original branding concepts.

From this unique opportunity, I showcased an innovative approach to business growth in the personal care vertical, emphasizing the integration of local traditions and regionally endemic goods to resonate with the target demographic.

As a Sustainability Fellow at the Presidio Trust, I developed a public outreach program to combat plant disease spread. Using data from a plant pathogen surveillance project, I led the creation of a shoe-cleaning pilot station to raise awareness and reduce pathogen migration.

Despite production challenges, I collaborated with park welders to engineer a beta version, achieving high engagement results that informed future iterations. Our success also established a precedent for neighboring parks to develop similar pathogen mitigation programs similarly using cross-verification analysis and our designs.
